Richardson, Jr., one of the full time stable sergeants with the local troop, Texas National Guard, died in Sherman Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock from the effects of injuries sustained early Thursday morning when the automobile he was driving turned over twice in East Lamar street. The sudden breaking of the bearing in a front wheel, causing it to lock, resulted in the machine making 2 complete turns and crushing Richardson beneath it. A broken rib pierced one lung. The young man was 24 years old, was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Richardson of West Lamar street. Funeral services were held at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
