Dallas Morning News A.S. TENNILLE FUNERAL IS HELD AT SHERMAN The body of A.S. Tennille, 80, who died in San Antonio Wednesday, arrived in Sherman Thursday morning. Mr. Tennille was a pioneer resident of Sherman. He is survived by his wife, Cliffie Tennille; and two children. The latter are Mrs. Maude Hendershott of Beaumont and A.S. Tennille, Jr. of Texas City. Mr. Tennille lived in Sherman forty-eight years and was engaged in the tinning business during the entire time. Before coming to Sherman, he lived at McKinney where he was engaged in the hardware business many years. He was a member of Kay Memorial Methodist Church and had served as steward and Sunday School superintendent many years. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery Thursday afternoon with Dr. O.T.
