RYAN,
Okla. - Services for Jewel B. Ingram, 91, of Ryan, Okla., who died
Friday, March 8, 1996, in Ryan Nursing Home after a long illness, will
be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church. The Rev.
Bob Waitman and the Rev. Clarence Mize will officiate.
Burial
will be at 11 a.m. Monday in West Hill Memorial Park in Sherman, Tx,
with the Rev. Tim Clayton, minister of East Sherman Baptist Church
officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Morehead-Goetz Funeral Home.
Mrs.
Ingram was born Jan. 27, 1905, in Van Alstyne and was the daughter of
William Henry Winfrey and Margaret Helen Reagan Winfrey. She was
a homemaker and operator of Red Bird Day Nursery in Sherman. She
grew up and attended school in Van Alstyne and Kentuckytown.
Mrs.
Ingram moved from Sherman to Ryan in 1978 and was a member of the First
Baptist Church. She married Thomas C.Ingram on Jan. 12, 1924 in
Sherman. Mr. Ingram died Dec. 19, 1949.
Surviving
are one son, Leroy Ingram of McKinney; one sister, Juanita Thorn of
Ryan, Okla.; one brother, Inese Reagan of Burkburnett; six
grandchildren, Tommy Howard, Diane Sturdivant, Mike Howard, Ken Ingram,
Terry Ingram and Steven Ingram; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She
was preceded in death by six children: Dalton Wilmer Ingram, Eugene
Ingram, Helen Howard, Ira Ingram, Sammy Ingram and Joy Faye Ingram.
Pallbearers will be Terry Ingram, Steve Ingram, Ken Ingram, Tommy Howard, Mike Howard and Lance Vanzant.
