February 20, 1926 pg.16 Resident of Grayson County 78 Years Dies Special to the News Sherman, Texas, Feb 19 - Mrs. Ann B. Fitch, 80 resident of Grayson County for more than seventy-eight years, died at her home Thursday night. With hre parents she came to Fannin County when two months old, and when she was two years old the family moved to Grayson County. Before her marriage to the late Clement C. Fitch of Sherman, in 1861, Mrs Fitch was Miss Ann B. Richards. Mr. Fitch died in Sherman Feb. 12, 1903. Mrs. Fitch was the mother of eleven children, seven of whom survive, as follows; Clay Fitch, Sherman; L.E. Fitch, Kingsville; Reece, Sam and Roy Fitch, Sherman; Miss Mattie Fitch, Wichita Falls, and Mrs. G. E. Adamson, Washington, D.C. Funeral services will be held Saturday, conducted by her pastor, Dr. T. L. Holcomb, assisted by Dr. T. A. Wharton, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, and burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
