Sherman, Tex., April 8 .-- The funeral of ex-Postmaster John Dorchester will take place from the residence of his son, Chess Dorchester, in the morning at 10 o'clock. He died at Savannah, I.T.

The funeral services of Mrs. Elizabeth Dorchester, wife of John Dorchester, who died THursday, were held at the family residence on Crockett Street at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.  After an instructive and impressive ceremony by Rev. J.M. Binkley, the remains were followed to the grave by a very large number of friends and neighbors.  Though gone from our midst, the gentle, loving nature and the unnumbered good deeds of Mrs. Dorchester will long live green in the memory of this community.
