for Hymy Guzick, 83, retired Frisco Railroad machinist who died Friday
at 4031 Mather Coutts, Dallas, were held Sunday at Weiland-Merritt
Funeral Home, Dallas. Burial was Sunday at West Hill Cemetery,
Sherman. Mr. Guzick was a native of Warsaw Poland and came to the United States in 1911 and to Texas in 1923. He worked in Sherman for the Frisco Railroad 27 years, retiring in 1949. He moved to Dallas in 1949. Mr. Guzick was a member of Temple Emanuel, Dallas He is survived by four sons, including Sam Guzick of Detroit, Michigan; Leon Guzick of Bay City; Morris Guzick of Sherman; and Frank Guzick of Dallas.
