FLETCHER WELL KNOWN YOUNG SHERMAN WOMAN DIED EARLY TODAY Mrs. Hettie M. Fletcher, wife of Bert C. Fletcher of this city, died at St. Vincent's sanitarium at 1:30 o'clock Friday morning following a week's illness with pneumonia. Mrs. Fletcher was 29 years of age. Funeral services, it is announced, will take place from the family home on West Jones street at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, the Rev. Homer Rainey of the First Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Fletcher had been a member of this church for a number of years. She also belonged to the local Woodman Circle Grove. Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Fletcher was the daughter of J.T. Reader of East Thomas avenue, and also the sister of Virgil, Tom and Luther Reeder and Mrs. Lester Logan, all of this city. Besides her husband, she is survived by a little daughter, Hazel. These will have the sympathy of all in their bereavement. Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher have made their home in Sherman for a number of years. Mr. Fletcher being foreman at the Vienna Steam Bakery. Mrs. Fletcher enjoyed the esteem of a large number of people and news of her death was cause for genuine sorrow to many. She was a woman of Christian character, and her loss will be felt by many outside her immediate family. Fletcher, wife of Bert C. Fletcher, who died Friday morning were held at the family home on West Jones street Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, being conducted by Homer Rainey, assistant pastor of the First Baptist Church. The funeral services were under the auspices of the Woodmen Circle, of which Mrs. Fletcher was a member. Interment was in West Hill Cemetery. Misses Irene and Mildred Miner of Dallas came to Sherman to attend the funeral of their aunt, Mrs. Hettie M. Fletcher, who died yesterday.
