JOHN BOHRER DEAD
One of the best known Citizens of Grayson County, Texas

Last night at his home at Southmayd John A. Bohrer died after a few days of illness of pheumonia.
He was in Sherman a few days ago, and was then complaining of a severe cold. Shortly after he went home. It was learned that he had been stricken with pneumonia and he grew steadily worse, until his demise. John Bohrer's death gave a great shadow over the community, in which he had resided for many years, and for his upbuilding of which he had labored so persistently and successfully. Grayson County can not afford to lose such men and they will be sorely missed, when effort and perseverance are required.

The deceased came to Sherman several years ago from Decatur, Illinois. He leaves a wife and three sons, Hal, Albett and Johnnie. Mr. Hal Bohrer has been quite ill for some time and while he is much improved is still quite weak.
The Masonic fraternity have taken the matter of the burial to hand. He was a member of the Indivisible Friends Commandry, Knights Templar of this city.
The body arrived from Southmayd at 12:17 p.m. and was at once taken in charge by the Knights Templar of the city, and the funeral cortege moved directly to West Hill where the Interment took place with due Masonic honors.
