 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Mrs. S.R. Smith August 1885 Sherman Daily Register Monday, June 13, 1887 Pg 4 S. R. Smith, in the 67th year of his age, passed away at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. D. Pierson, 113 East Mulberry street, last night at 10 o'clock, after a long and protracted sickness. He came from Georgia to Sherman 10 years ago, and has since made this city his home. He will be buried this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the City Cemetery. Rev. W. C.
