G.E. HELMS WILL BE BURIED THURSDAY

Sherman, Texas, October 2 - G.E. Helms, 60, died Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T.W. Scrivner, eight miles east of the city at Smith Oaks.  Funeral services were held Thursday, conducted by Harvey Scott, pastor of the Walnut Street Church of Christ.  Burial was in West Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Janie Helms; 6 sons and 3 daughters:  E.P. Helms of Lipan; D.L. Helms and C.G. Helms of this city; Joe Helms and Victor Helms of Wichita Falls; Olen Helms of the United States Navy; Mrs. F.R. Gafford of Turkey; Mrs. T.W. Scrivner and Mrs. Arlie Cordell of this city.  He is also by one brother, V.H. Helms of Garrett; and two sisters, Mrs. Georgia Davis of Waxahachie and Mrs. Mollie Boren of Mineral Wells.
