Wednesday, March 15, 1922 pg. 1 CHARLES L. KNOLL, WELL KNOWN CITIZEN, IS DEAD Charles L, Knoll, 71 years of age, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed Cox, 914 North Maxey street, Tuesday evening after a short illness of pneumonia. Mr. Knoll was well known in this community, having made Sherman his home for the past 42 years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ed Cox and Mrs. W.W. Talley of Sherman, and Mrs. Harry Traw of Corsicana, all of whom were at the bedside when death came. A sister, Mrs. A. Hicks of Waco, also survives. Funeral services took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cox Wednesday afternoon with interment in West Hill Cemetery. Rev. J.S. Cameron, pastor of the North Park Baptist Church, conducted the services.
