 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Hulett Kirkpatrick 27 April 1852 - 31 March 1908 The Denison Daily Herald Tuesday, March 31, 1908 pg. 3 SHERMAN NEWS NOTES Hulett Kirkpatrick, the Negro janitor at the Washington School on South Travis street, who received a paralytic stroke yesterday morning while engaged with his duties at the school, died at his home yesterday afternoon. He was among the most prominent men of his race in this city. He had lived here many years, and by hard work and attention to business had accumulated a handsome home, and gave his only son a college education. The son, who is a clerk in the St. Louis postoffice, was notified of his father's death and will come to the funeral.
