Shermam Daily Democrat 27, 28 August 1886 DIED Overton, son of Mrs. E.R. Darnall of this city, aged about 14 years, died at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon of typhoid pneumonia after an illness of eleven days. The Register extends its sympathies to the grief stricken mother and relatives. Shermam Daily Democrat 27, 28 August 1886 BURIED Overton Darnall, aged 14 years, son Mrs. E. R. Darnall, was buried in the city cemetery today, at 10 o'clock. The funeral took place from the First Christian church, Rev. Mr. Dimmitt officiating. The bereaved mother has lost a noble son and his sisters a loving brother, who would have been all that is true and kind had it been his lot to live but the Angel of Death garnered him as one of the brightest gems of them all.
