GEORGE W. FIELDER
Graveside services for George Wheeler Fielder of 1004 Epstein 88-year-old
retired mechanic who died Wednesday at his home, will be held at 2 pm Friday
in West Hill Cemetery. The Rev. A. W. Blaine, Baptist minister of Collinsville,
will officiate and arrangements are by Waldo Funeral Home.
Mr. Fielder was born in Collin County, a son of W. B. and Amanda
Decker Fielder, and married Charlene Willaby on Nov. 29, 1950, in Sherman.
He attended Collin County schools and was a self-employed mechanic for
most of his life. He was a member of North Park Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; brother, Frank Fielder of Sherman; and sister
Edna Hughes of Corpus Christi. Pallbearers will be Lelan Yealack, Dewey
Tucker, Marvin Haynie, Carl Syler and Henry Sims.
The family will be at
the funeral home 7 to 8 pm Thursday and other times at 1004 Epstein.

Graveside services for Mary Charlene Fielder of 1004 Epstein, 70-year-old
retired Texas Instruments employee who died Sunday in a Sherman nursing
home, will be held at 3 pm Monday in West Hill Cemetery. Rev. Fred Durham
of Key Memorial United Methodist Church will officiate. Arrangements are
under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fielder was born in Sherman,
the daughter of Perry B. and Julia Duke Willaby and married George Wheeler
Fielder on November 29, 1950. She attended Sherman schools and was a beauty
operator for many years. She retired from Texas Instruments in March 1979,
after almost 19 years in quality control. She was a member of the Key Memorial
United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her brother Finis Willaby of Denison.
Memorial may be made to the Grayson County Home Hospice or to the American
Cancer Society.
