Monday, July 26, 1937 pg. 1 VETERAN DIES SATURDAY AT KERRVILLE HOME James Knox Alexander, 47, ex-service man who saw service overseas, died at Kerrville Saturday afternoon. His body was carried overland to Denison and the W.H. Halton funeral home from which point it was taken to Sherman and the Presbyterian church for services under Rev. Clyce Monday afternoon at 4. Interment was at West Hill cemetery, Sherman, W.H. Halton of Denison directing. He is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Knox, Jr. and Ross of Dallas; 2 sisters, Mrs. Nannie Baucum, Denton; and Mary Alexander of Cuba; 4 brothers, George of Dallas; John of San Antonio; Adrian of Altus, Oklahoma; and Carl of Sherman.
