West Hill CemeteryJune 27, 1991 A-10 Roy C. Wall, 86, of San Antonio and formerly of Sherman, died Tuesday at his residence in San Antonio. Services were held at 2 p.m. today in Waldo Funeral Chapel. Rev. Darrel Miley of Christian Fellowship Church in San Antonio officiated. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery. Mr. Wall was born in Sherman, the son of Tom Eddie Wall and Sophie Elizabeth Pinkinburg Wall. He attended Sherman public schools and was a graduate of Sherman High School. On May 18, 1980, he married Ruth Essary in San Antonio. He was employed for 33 years by Anderson-Clayton Foods (now Kraft Food Ingredients) and retired in 1965. He had lived in San Antonio since 1980 and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene there. Surviving are his wife; son, Roy Wallis Wall of Lubbock; brother, Charlie Wall of Sherman; sister, Bessie Smith of Mabank; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Raymon Siebert, Claude Anderson, Eldon Hill, Albert Jeffries, Ralph White and Clyde Gilbert.
