Juenwas born November 19, 1933 in Whitewright, Texas, daughter of Helen and Sidney Gentry and grew up in Pecos, Texas. She married Israel Rodriquez in 1951 and raised a family in Sherman. She was a great wife, mother and homemaker. She was a mom to all that needed one. Those who knew her were amazed by her willingness to take on others in need (even ducks). June cooked and cared for many kids, friends and relative throughout her life. She played the piano, wrote poetry and was an avid reader. June loved to cook, sew, crochet, paint, dance and garden. She also enjoyed her daily newspaper crossword puzzle until her death. She is survived by her son, Larry Rodriquez and wife, Beverly, of Howe, Texas; daughters, Sidney Avlos and husband, Nick, of Sherman; and Shawnda Lybarger and husband, John, of Melissa, Texas. June is alsos survived by her 6 grandchildren: Christina Watson and husband, Rocky, of Sherman; Jessie Parker and husband, Jake, of Aubrey; Cody Gronemeier and wife, Jodi, of Denison; Nicholas Avlos and wife, Karen, of Irving; Jacob Lybarger of Rockwall; and Jared Rodgers and wife, Brittany, of Whitesboro. 7 great-grandchildren, Stella, Tatum, Landon, Haley, Zoee, Israel and Jentri. Juen had one great-great-grandson, Walker Gentry. June was preceded by her parents; husband; sons, Patrick and Eugene Rodriquez; sister, Wanda Stubblefield and brother, Joe Gentry. Funeral services were held Saturday morning, July 9, 2021 at the Waldo Funeral Home chapel. 1 February 1957 - 19 May 2011 US Army  Funeral services for Patrick Allen Rodriquez, 54, of Sherman were held Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Albert Fisher of Key United Methodist Church officiating. Burial followed at West Hill Cemetery. Patrick passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Texas Presbyterian Health Center - WNJ in Sherman. He was born Friday, February 1, 1957 in Sherman, son of Israel and June Rodriquez. He attended Sherman schools; then enlisted and served our country for eight years in the U.S. Army. While serving mostly in Germany, he earned the rank of Sergeant, a liberal arts degree and he served as an assistant to the Chaplain. Patrick was an accomplished musician, singer, song writer and guitar player. He was a Christian and attended Key Memorial Methodist Church. as a child. Patrick is survived by his mother; brother, Larry Rodriquez and wife Beverly of Luella; sisters, Sidney Avlos and husband Nick of Oak Point and Shawnda Irvin of Wylie; special friend, Donna James; nieces, Christina Watson and Jessica Mason; nephews, Cody Gronemeir and Jared Rodgers; great-nephew, Israel; and great-nieces Haley and Zoee. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Israel Eugene Rodriquez. Pallbearers were Cody Gronemeir, Jared Rodgers, Charles Dean Bowling, Sam Leatherwood, Michael Fields, Tony Geis, and Joseph Franklin.
