Wayne "Weatherman" Calhoun was born January 24, 1948 in Bonham, Texas.
Jerry lived a life full of adventure. He was an avid outdoors
man, drover over a million miles as a truck driver, and became a
professional piddler when it was time to retire.
He married the love of his life, Debbie Calhoun on October 10, 1992 at the Lighthouse Resort and Marina on Lake Texoma and inherited 2 hard-headed stepchildren. He is survived by his children: son, Randy Acklin and wife, Kristen and their children, Raley and Alexandra, of Plano; and daughter, Crystal White and husband, Philip White of Plano; and more friends and cousins than you could shake a family tree at. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to ARFhouse! in Sherman, or to Fannin County Emergency Management. And we encourage all of you to spend time piddling around this afternoon in Jerry's memory. Graveside services were held Wednesday morning, August 23, 2023 at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, Texas.
