Thursday, February 9, 1922 pg. 1 BURNS ARE FATAL TO MRS. MATTIE RUCKER Sherman, Feb. 7 - Mrs. Mattie Rucker, 70 years of age, died at 10 o'clock Monday night as a result of burns suffered at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon when her clothes caught fire from an open gas heater. Mrs. Rucker, who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. K.S. Loving, 112 N. Grand Avenue, was alone in the house at the time of the accident, and was found unconscious by Mrs. Loving who had been away from home only a few minutes. Mrs. Rucker never regained consciousness before she died. Mrs. Rucker is survived by the following children: Mrs. C.C. Andrews of Celina; Mrs. J.F. Myers of El Paso; Mrs. K.S.
