BODY OF TANT R. WESTBROOK HAS ARRIVED

Body of World War Soldier Will Be Buried in Sherman Sunday Afternoon.

The body of Tant R. Westbrook who enlisted in the service at Snyder and who died from wounds received in action in France in October, 1918, arrive in Sherman Thursday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock for final interment in the soil of his native State.
The deceased was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James R. Westbrook, residing just east of Sherman, mear Carr-Burdette
College. They formerly lived at Snyder and moved here four years ago while their son was in training at Camp Bowie, Fort Worth. The deceased was a member of the 142d Infantry, 30th Division and went oversears in July 1918, after a year's training. He was wounded in action October 8 and died about October 11, although the exact date is not known. The overseas grave was not definitely located until three months ago, when Mr. Westbrook was notified and asked for instruction as to its disposition.
The deceased was 22 years of age at the time of his death. He is survived, besides his parents, by a brother, J. A. Westbrook, and three sisters, Mrs. Zora Robertson of Oklahoma, Mrs. Aurelia Justice of Sherman and Miss Opal Westbrook, who lives at home.
Arrangements have been made for holding a military funeral service on Sunday afternoon under auspices of Charles R. Simmons, Post of the American Legion. Religious services will be held at Walnut Street Church of Christ at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. L. S. White, the pastor. The military services will follow
at the grave in West Hill Cemetery where full honors will be accorded the fallen hero by his war-time buddies.
