Sherman Democrat Friday afternoon, March 14, 1958 Dr. B.T. Brown Dies; Funeral Set Saturday Dr. Brian Tuck Brown, 64, of 506 N. Grand, a native of Sherman and practicing physician here for the last 13 years, died Friday at 4:30 a.m. in a Sherman hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday at 4 p.m. in Dannel Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Edward Barcus, pastor of the First Methocist Church conducting the services. Burial was in West Hill. Pallbearers were be R.L. Hall, Harry Hudgins, Cecil Taliaferro, Neilson Rogers, Harry Bean, all of Sherman and Charles Gullett of Denison. Dr, Brown was born August 15, 1893, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Brown. He and Mrs. Brown were married August 13, 1923 in Binghampton, New York. He was graduated from Sherman High School and Austin College. After graduating from the University of Texas Medical School, Dr. Brown interned at Cleveland Charity Hospital, Ohio. Until World War II he practiced medicine in San Angelo. During the war Dr. Brown served in the Medical Corps, stationed in England. He returned to Sherman to make his home after the war. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Brown of Sherman; an aunt, Mrs. L.M. Tuck of Sherman; and four cousin, Mayor V.L. Tuck and Mrs. Elizabeth Higginbotham, both of Sherman; Mrs. W.J. Smith of Pampa and Mrs. Kenneth Foree of Dallas. Sherman Democrat March 13, 1981 Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in West Hill Cemetery for Mrs. Mary Kusek Brown, 84, retired registered nurse, who died Thursday in a Sherman nursing home. Rev. Tom Price of the First United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be under the direction of Dannel and Horton Funeral Home. Born in Luzerne, Pa., she was married to Dr. Brian Tuck Brown August 13, 1923 at Binghampton, N.Y. They lived in San Angelo, where he practiced medicine until after World War II when they moved to Sherman to make their home. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Grayson County Medical Auxiliary. She is survived by sisters.....
