 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Mrs. M.C. Myers 18 January 1847 - 10 June 1922 Sherman Daily Democrat Sunday, June 11, 1922 pg. 3 Mrs. Melissa C. Myers, 75 years of age, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.A. Overturf, 525 East Orange Street, Friday night at 11:30 o'clock. Funeral services will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of Mrs. Overturf, conducted by Dr. T.L. Holcomb, pastor of First Baptist Church. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Myers is survived by 2 sons, Charles Myers of Sherman and John Myers of Anna; and 3 daughters, Mrs. H.A. Overturf of Sherman, Mrs. P.F. Loftice of Melissa; and Mrs. J.J. Rollings of Anna. Mrs. Myers was a widow. One of the pioneer women of this section, Mrs. Myers was well known and well beloved in a large circle of friends, and her death has caused genuine sorrow to these.
