He passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 in Sherman, Texas. Jimmy was born on September 30, 1948, the son of Frank and Cora Good Hayes. He joined the United States Marines and served his country. He is survived by his sister, Peggy Johnson; brother, Steve Hayes and wife, Linda; sister Brenday Hayes, all of Sherman; two nephews, Tony Landrum and Jeff Hayes; two nieces, Rhonda Jordan and Cindy Witherspoon; two great nephews, Andrew Landrum and Andy Hayes; two great nieces, Samantha Johnson and Rachael Witherspoon. He is also survived by his son, Greg Hayes, of Mineola, Texas; two daughters, Amy Hayes of Vandalia, Illinois, and Jennifer Hayes of Louisiana.
