Ownby 19 January 1933 - 28 November 1995 SFC US Army Korea & Vietnam wed 13 October 1962  The Herald Democrat July 20, 2011 Marianne "Jeanie" Stack Ownby, of Dixon, Missouri, was born in Oberickelsheim, Germany on July 5, 1930 and passed away at her home in Dixon, Missouri, on July 17, 2011. She married A.C. Ownby on October 13, 1962 in Neu-Ulm, Germany. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her brothers-in-law, Bob Ownby & wife, Peggy, of Green Cove Springs, Florida; Michael Ownby & wife, Tommie, of Rowlett, Texas; and sisters-in-law, Freida Turner & husband, Ray, of Denison, Texas; and Paula Clearfield & husband, Richard, of Sachse, Texas; one niece; 6 nephews; several great nieces & nephews; and her very special cousins in Germany. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Westhill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas. Pastor Raymond England officiated the service.
