Sherman Daily Register Wednesday, April 20, 1887 pg. 4 DIED Alma, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Brown, died at the family residence on West Mulberry street yesterday afternoon, after a short attack of congestion. Like a bud that had just opened to show its beauty and cast out its fragrance, she was plucked by angelic hands to adorn the Eternal City where she now rests in the bosom of the martyr of Calvary, who said "Suffer Children to Come Unto Me." It is true that hearts ache because of the loss of the little one who will so soon be hidden from view, and over whose grave the flowers of spring will creep, but in a home where there is no death a little guardian angel keeps watch over those whom it left on earth. The funeral service will take place from the family residence tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Sherman Daily Register Thursday, April 21, 1887 pg. 4 BURIED The remains of little Alma Brown were interred in the city cemetery this afternoon at 3 o'clock.
