April 6, 1950 Page 8 Funeral services for Roy Gordon Yates, 60, formerly of Sherman, who died at his home in San Antonio Tuesday, will be held at the Waldo Funeral Chapel Friday at 3 p.m. A Christian Science reading will conduct. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery. Mr. Yates was born at St. Joseph, Mo., Oct. 15, 1889. He was secretary and vice president of the Yates Laundry Company at San Antonio. He was a member of the Christian Science Church. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Alma May Holmes Yates, formerly of Sherman; one brother, A. A. Yates of San Amnion and one sister, Mrs. Ralph T.
