 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Johnny Ray Moreno 7 February 1971 - 29 May 2012  The Herald Democrat June 3, 2012 Las Vegas, Nevada - Funeral Mass for Johnny Ray Moreno was held Monday morning, June 4, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, followed by The Rite of Committal at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. A Rosary was held Sunday evening, June 3, 2012 followed by the family vigil at Cravens Funeral Home in Sherman. Fr. Antonio Thomas Avila officiated over the funeral rites. Johnny was born February 7, 1971 in Denison, son of Dolores Moreno and Diamantina Cadenas. Johnny Ray worked as a executive chev and enjoyed collecting movies, listening to music and playing video games. But most of all he enjoyed riding his motorcycles. Although Johnny resided in, and loved the lights of Las Vegas, he would often say, "My heart will always be in Texas." On Tuesday, May 29, 2012, Johnny Ray Moreno entered into eternal life from Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is survived by his wife, Shauna Reel Shanks; daughters, Emma and Carmen Moreno; mother and stepfather; Diamantina Moreno and Carlos Diaz; brother, Daniel Moreno and wife, Brittany; nephews, Preston, Rylan and Jaggar Moreno; niece, Haylee Moreno; along with many other relatives and friends. The Moreno entrusted service arrangements to the personal care of Cravens Funeral Home.
