 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas WILLIAM AYERS Sherman Daily Register December 27, 1886 WILLIAM AYERS William Ayers, an old and respected citizen of Sherman, passed away into the mysteries of the great beyond yesterday morning at nine o'clock, and was buried today in the City cemetery. The deceased had lived to a ripe old age and had gathered around him friends in a host who will hear of his death with much sorrow. The Register extends its sympathies to the bereaved ones.
