Fletcher, 74, of Sherman, Texas, who passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dannel Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Mike Flanagan of First Baptist Church of Whitesboro will officiate. The family will receive visitors at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Private interment will be at West Hill Cemetery at a later date. Carol R. Fletcher was born Carol Jean Russ on December 15, 1938 in Norfolk, Virginia to parents Harry C. Russ, Jr. and Mildred Farrow Russ. She received her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Grayson County College in 1978, her Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M in 1979, her Master's Degree in Business from Texas A&M in 1981 and received her CPA license in 1984. Carol owened and operated Carol Fletcher Accounting for over 20 years. Anyone who met Carol, immediately knew that she was a very strong willed woman, a Republican, and someone who had a heart for helping others. In her spare time she always enjoyed reading a "good" book. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her significant other, Andy Korioth of Denison, TX; daughter, Carla Woolsey and grandson Cody Woolsey, both of Whitesboro, TX; brother Harry Russ III and wife Linda of Virginia Beach, VA, good friend and co-worker Diana Taylor and many other friends.
