West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Adalphna Fay (Fox) Grigg, 87, of Sherman went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 3, 2013. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Waldo Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Raymond England of Trinity Lighthouse in Denison, TX officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Arrangements are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX. She was born on March 9, 1925 the daughter of Adolph J. and Mallie Wilson Fox. Fay was a longtime member of Central Christian Church in Sherman. She married Don Grigg August 31, 1946 in Sherman, Texas. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2001. Fay came to Sherman shen she was sixteen years old. She didn't like the farm life, so she went to work at the City Cafe. She also worked at Whopper-Stopper and Miss King's Kitchen. She is survived by her two sons, Wayne Grigg and wife Laura of Denison, TX and Larry Grigg and Dennis of Plano, TX; grandchildren Ty Grigg and wife Celina, Jason Grigg and wife Sunshine, Holly Pedigo and husband Ben, Brandi Vasko and husband Chris and Lauren Blake and husband, James; great-grandchildren Gavyn, Braylon, Ashton, Destin, Dalton, Travis, Clera, Kurt, Caden and Joshua; two sisters, Lola Armstrong and husband Bobby of Pottsboro, TX and Mary Griffith and husband Buddy of Pottsboro, TX. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Jim Fox, Virgle Fox, and Adolph Fox Jr., sister, Ruth Peterman, former daughter-in-law Dixie Grigg and grandson Ian Pedigo, who will be rocked by his "MaMaw". Pallbearers will be Ken Peterman, Brad Griffith, Bed Pedigo, Ty Grigg, Gary Shields, and Chris Vasko. Family night will be held on Tuesday, February 5th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Waldo Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
