 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Dallas (TX) Morning News Wednesday, January 19, 1916 p. 3 Sherman, Texas, Jan 18. -- T.S. Sims, 74 years of age, a pioneer citizen of Sherman, died this morning at 8:30 o'clock from the effects of the grip. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery here tomorrow afternoon. He is survived by three sons and one daughter: F. M. Sims of Durant, Oklahoma; T. B. Sims of Dexter, Texas, and J. C. Sims and Mrs. Annie Kerr of this city. Sherman Democrat January 1916 Mr. Simms, 74, passed away this morning at 8:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Annie Kerr, in Sherman. The cause of death was from the infirmities of old age and an attack of the grip. Mr. Sims is survived by 3 sons and one daughter.
