  Eual Guy Shelley, age 91 departed from this world on March 3, 2013. Services were held at Dannel Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 6th at 10: 00 a.m. with Pastor Leland Samuelson officiating. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 5th at Dannel Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Interment was at West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, Texas. Eual was born at Dugan Chapel in Grayson County to Daniel Goodson Shelley and Dollie Davlin Shelley on September 15, 1921. He served in the U.S. Army for 6 years, 4 of which were on the front lines of the European Theater in World War II. On June 24, 1966 he married Adella Thomas and they shared 30 wonderful years together. She preceded him in death on September 11, 1996. Eual worked for Grayson County as a truckdriver for 30 years before retirement. Eual always had a good story to tell, from talking about singing at different churches with his "Papa" to talking about his years in the Army, not to mention boasting about the light of his life, his great-granddaughter Cadence. Eual was preceded in death by his parents and wife Adella, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
