Mrs. John T. Nall, 70, whose residence was 415 W. Scott, died late Thursday in a Houston hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services were Monday at 11 a.m. in the Dannel Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Stanley E. Hovatter of Richardson, formerly of First Christian Church, Sherman, conducting the services. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Dannel and Son Funeral Home.
Born March 28, 1898, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tobin.  On December 2, 1917, she married Dr. John T. Nall, Sherman optomerist and former mayor.  During her life, Mrs. Nall was prominent in many civic and church affairs, having been a lifelong member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary Nancy Innis of Houston; a brother, R.C. Rousey of Plainview; a sister, Mrs. Frank Casteel of Ft. Worth; and 4 grandchildren.
On Decwmber 2, 1917, Dr. Nall married Miss Effie Rousey of Sherman, who survives him.  Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Peter S. Innis, the former Miss Mary Nancy Nall, of Shreveport, Louisiana; a granddaughter, and 2 brothers, Louis G. Nall of Los Angeles California, and Robert D. Nall of Sherman. 
Dr. Nall was a past president of both the Sherman Rotary Club and the Sherman Area Boy Scout Council.  He had served also as chairman for the Scout court of honor.  He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and for many years had been active in various.....
