 Sherman - Services for Emily Ann Hogan, 55, of Sherman were held Thursday morning at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel, Sherman. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hogan died Monday at her residence. She was born July 9, 1934 in Gainesville, daughter of Willie Lee and Velma Inge Pearcy. She married Loyd Wayne Hogan on February 23, 1953 in Gainesville. She was an electronic assembler for Texas Instruments for 17 years. She moved to Sherman in 1968. She was reared in Gainesville and attended Gainesville public schools. She was an active member of Kentuckytown Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 sons, William Randall Hogan of Sherman and Russell W. Hogan of Phoenix, Arizona; 3 daughters, Jetta Carnley and Donna LaGray, both of Sherman and Carla Marie Lemons; her mother, Velma Pearcy of Gainesville; 4 brothers, Bill Pearcy of Cleburne; Jim Pearcy of Sherman; Ollie Pearcy of Waco and Bob Pearch of Gainesville; 2 sisters, Darlene Caldwell of Olney, Maryland and Sue Glenn of Whitesboro; and 7 grandchldren.
