ALVA OVERLEY
Fourteen-Year-Old Girl Succumbs to Attack of Peliagra
Miss Alva Overley, 14 years of age, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. Nellie Overley, in this city yesterday afternoon, following a 4 months' illness with peliagra.  The body was buried in West Hill cemetery this afternoon, following funeral services conducted from the late residence, No. 1217 North Broughton street, in charge of  Rev. Geo. F. Cuthrell, pastor of the Central Christian church.  Arrangements were in charge of the John C. Dannell undertaking company.
The deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. Nellie Overley; 2 sisters, Bessie and Juanita; a brother, Clyde, all younger than herself, and a half brother, Bunby Odneal of this city.
Her father, A.B. Overley, a
Frisco engineer was killed several years ago in a train wreck.
The family have the sympathy of a large circle of friends in their bereavement.  Miss Overley had been confined to her bed for about 4 months before the end came, but had endured her battle bravely, and made many friends during her days of sickness by her fortitude and patience.  The Democrat extends its sin cerest sympathy.
