Charles E. Clark, Jr.

Charles E. Clark, a long time former resident of Sherman, died at his home at Inglewood, California Monday, according to word received by relatives here.
Mr. Clark was born at Grafton, Illinois and came to Texas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Clark when a small boy.  He had been in business for a number of years at Sherman before moving to California.  He was a member of the Baptist Church and the Woodmen of the World.
Survivors include 2 sons, E.H. Clark of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Charles E. Clark, Jr. of Burbank, California; one daughter, Mrs. C.D. Hopson of Sherman; one brother, Will Clark of Los Angeles, California; and 2 sisters, Mrs. J.M. Watterson of Sherman and Mrs. C.B. Caldwell of Inglewood.
Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of the body Thursday and will probably be held Friday.

Charles E. Clark, Jr., 55, a brother of Mrs. C.D. Hopson, 1203 N. Grand, died Friday night in Inglewood, California.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in the Dannel Chapel here with Rev. Fred Hall, minister of the Central Christian Church, officiating.  Burial was in West Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Clark was born July 30, 1912 in Sherman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Clark, Sr.  He was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors are his wife; his stepmother, Mrs. Charles E. Clark, Sr. of Inglewood; and Mrs. Hopson.
The body is expected to arrive at Dannel Funeral Home late Monday.
