Sherman Democrat January 29, 1964 p.2 GUY REYNOLDS DIES; THURSDAY RITES SET Funeral services were held Thursday morning in Dannel Funeral Chapel for Guy R. Reynolds, 66, of Sherman, who died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in a Sherman hospital. Rev. Tom Brandon of the First Baptist Church conducted the services. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery. Mr. Reynolds was born June 30, 1896, in Mt. Vernon, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Reynolds. He married Miss Myrtle Cole March 15, 1917, in Randolph. He was a retired train dispatcher for Rock Island Railroad with 46 years of service and a member of the First Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge and various other lodges. Pallbearers were C.H. Breedlove, Less Huckaby, Ralph Lair, Floyd Brent, E.A. Christie, Cecil Newbill, Maurice Sanders, Leon Brittain and Fred Mooty. Memorials may be sent to the Heart Association. Surviving him are his wife of Sherman; 2 brothers, Carl Reynolds of Mississippi and T.J. Reynolds of Odessa; and 3 sisters, Mrs. E.D. Williams of Tyler, Mrs. Morris Eufurd of Gilmer and Mrs. Lloyd Green of Gatesville. (Researcher's note : Myrtle Cole Reynolds was the g-granddaughter of Fannin County, Texas pioneers Joseph R.
