Sallie Mae Matthews 6 September 1884 - 16 May 1913 w/o J.W. Matthews Sherman Daily Register September 3, 1902 The funeral of Miss Minnie Corbin, age 20, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Corbin of Rockport, took place at the home with burial in City Cemetery, Sherman. Sherman Daily Democrat Thursday, April 1, 1915 pg.5 Funeral services for Dr. J.H. Corbin were held at the residence of his father, W.F. Corbin, No. 1027 East Lamar street, Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, conducted by Rev. B. Wrenn Webb, pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church. This morning at 11 o'clock Frank A. Sporer of the undertaking firm of Haynes & Sporer, left in charge of the body for St. Louis, where it will be cremated. Mr. Sporer will bring the ashes back to this city and they will be interred in West Hill Cemetery. The Denison Herald Tuesday, September 23, 1919 pg. 2 Sherman, Tex., Sept. 23 - William F. Corbin, until recently of 1027 East Lamar street, died at his home 7 miles southwest of the city, to which he recently moved, at 6:30 o'clock this morning following a long period of ill health. While his health had been failing for about 2 years, Mr. Corbin was confined to his bed only a few days, being up and about his place last week. He was 72 years of age. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from Grace Presbyterian church in this city, with Rev. A.D. Johnston officiating, and with burial in West Hill Cemetery by the side of Mrs. Corbin who died 7 years ago.
