August 27, 1889 Sherman, Tex., Aug. 26. - Tom C. Milton, one of the old citizens of Sherman, died at his residence, corner of Walnut and Mulberry streets, tonight at 10:30 o'clock. The deceased was a prominent railroad contractor and was for quite a while engaged in building on the El Paso extension of the Texas and Pacific railway. The funeral will take place to-morrow.
