Retired Farmer Dies; Funeral set Friday

Funeral will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m in North Park Baptist Church for Joseph H. Doyle, 76, of 1401 N. Grand Ave., who died Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. in Sherman Community Hospital after an illness of six months.
Rev. A.W. Blaine, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery, directed by Barrett Funeral Home.
Mr. Doyle was a native of Brandon and son of the late J.H. Doyle and Victoria Armstrong Doyle.
He came to Grayson County from Ellis County in 1922. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary Williams Doyle; three daughters, Mrs. C.E. Christian, Mrs. C.K. Knox, and Mrs. Jack Brown, all of Sherman; three sons, Erwin Doyle of Ennis, Elmer Lee Doyle of Forth Worth, and Herbert Doyle of Dallas; two half borhters, J.M. Pipkin and W.L Pipkin, both of Dallas; two half-sisters, Mrs. Dollie Pruitt of Dallas and Mrs. Pearl Mull of Plainview.
