Thursday, March 3, 1927 pg.1 SHERMAN ATTORNEY FOUND DEAD IN BED Sherman, March 2 - Judge J.K. Jamison, 76, prominent Sherman attorney, was foun dead in bed Tuesday morning. He had been in bad health for some time but was at his office Mondoay. He served as assistant county attorney under the late Cecil H. Smith and also J.H. Truett. Judge Jamison was a native of Alabama and completed his education at Lebanon College, Lebanon, Tennessee, where he later was an instructor for several years. He came to Grayson County 44 years ago, located in Whitesboro, coming to Sherman 4 years later. Jamison is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emily Anderson Jamison, and 6 children. Three of his sons are bank cashiers. They are Albert J. Jamison, Central State Bank, Sherman; Frank A. Jamison, Farmers National Bank, Buda, Texas; and Willis C.
