 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Charles Joe Jaresh 1909 - 1981 The Sherman Democrat November 4, 1981 pg.B15 The Denison Herald pg.4 Sherman - Funeral for Charles Joe Jaresh, 72, who died Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in Gunter, were held Thursday afternoon at Waldo Chapel with burial in West Hill Cemetery. Rev. A.W. Blaine, Baptist minister of Collinsville, officiated. He was born July 18, 1909 in Ennis. He married Janie C. Jansa on November 11, 1928 and she died November 22, 1980. He was a Gunter area resident over 50 years and retired in 1972 in farming. He was an insurance adjuster for the RVOS Lodge after his retirement. He was a Baptist and a member of Woodmen of the World. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Betty Jane Tate of Garland and Mrs. Dorothy Jean Tamplen of Denton; one brother, James Jaresh of Dorchester; 4 grandchldren; 3 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were nephews, Marvin Jaresh, Jeff Jaresh, Terry Jaresh, Richard Jaresh, Kenneth Jaresh, and David Jaresh.
