Wednesday, June 14, 1911 pg. 8 JNO. B. SNYDER DEAD Passed Away at Ripe Old Age at His Home Today John B. [sic] Snyder, aged 78 years, died at his home on East Cherry street this morning at 11 o'clock after a wearing illness of three years incident to a stroke of paralysis. For the last few days he has been gradually sinking. He is a native of Kentucky and has resided in Texas for 33 years, the most of which time he has spent in Sherman. He was a member of the Methodist church and a Christian gentleman. The burial will follow services at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. He is survived by his wife and sons and daughters as follows: C.B. Snyder, J.L. Snyder, Mrs. R.B. Carr, Mrs. Cora Davis and D.B. Snyder of Sherman and F.C. Snyder of Bingham, Utah.
