J.M. RANDLES DEAD
Old-Time Shermanite Passed Away Last Evening

J. Marion Randles, 68, died last night at the home of his sister, Mrs. D. Massie, corner of First and Odneal streets.  For about 3 years Mr. Randles had been in poor health and for the last month has been quite ill.  Pellagra was the cause of death.  He died at 8 o'clock last evening.
The deceased is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Dave McClure of Bonham; Mrs. D. Massie of Sherman; and Mrs. J.N. Massie of Pueblo, Colorado.  Mr. Randles had never married.
He was born in Tennessee and had made this city his home for several years.  He once owned a farm near Wapanucka, Oklahoma.
The funeral will be this afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence, services conducted by Rev. Forrest Smith.  Many years ago he was active in the Masonic Lodge and is also remembered here by some on account of in former years his playing a violin in the churches in the city.
