 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Mrs. Edna Wood, 36, who came here 5 months ago from San Diego, California, died Friday at her home, 1023 Washington Avenue, after a long illness. Before moving to San Diego, Mrs. Wood had lived in Sherman.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Key Memorial Methodist Church in Sherman. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Survivors are her husband, Newman Wood; father, J.L. Jernigan of Bells; a daughter, Margaret Ann Wood; brothers, Virgil Jernigan of Bells; Cecil Jernigan of El Centro, California; Melvin Jernigan of Sherman; Elmer Jernigan of Denison; Earl Jernigan of Lubbock; and sisters, Mrs. C.B. Moore of Denison; Mrs. Houston Young of Bells; and Mrs. Ewing Odell of Ft. Worth.
