Friday, January 4, 1957 pg. 12 FORMER RESIDENT BURIED IN SHERMAN Funeral services for D.A. Warren, 86, who died January 1 at his home in Sherman were held Thursday at the Wilson-Jones Funeral Home in Sherman. Burial was in the Sherman cemetery. Mr. Warren, a resident of Sherman for the past 25 years, made his home in Greenville prior to that time. He was the last member of a pioneer Hunt County family, and was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife and 2 sons. Attending the funeral services from Greenville were nieces and nephews including Mr. and Mrs. Carl Warren, Sheriff and Mrs. Tom Warren, Mrs. H.A. Stegner, Jim Mosteller, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Martin, Mrs. Virgil Warren, Mrs. Ray Warren and Miss Vera Mosteller.
