 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Anderson Chamberlain was the son of Jake Chamberlain, a Baptist preacher and former slave, and his fourth wife, Mary Bryant.
Anderson was the husband of Willie Offard Chamberlain. His father, Rev. Chamberlain (1798-1905), was said to have been born in Grainger Co., Tennessee, where he was the slave of Jeremiah Chamberlain.
