The body of John Thomas Hardy, 83, retired farmer was recovered from a tank at his home northwest of here after a daughter, Miss Dora Hardy, called to neighbors for help. Otis Scruggs, 20, a Negro cook, drowned while swimming in a tank north of Sherman. Texas Death Certificate #25555 Otis J.
