Ann Tucker, 50, of Sherman passed away August 10, 2002 at Medical City
in Dallas. She was born November 26, 1951 in Dade County, Florida,
daughter of Patrick and Mary Jane Tucker.
She graduated from high school in Miami and attended Amarillo State College. She worked at Metro Linen, Grandy's and volunteered for the Sherman Housing Authority. She was active in the fight against sex offenders and their early release and was honored by Senator Phil Graham for her work in this area. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, playing cards and cooking. She is survived by her daughters, Tami Stovall and husband, Herman, of Sherman; Laura Pilkinton of Sherman; and Heather Pilkinton of Amarillo; sisters, Patricia Tucker of Florida and Marjorie Tucker of Nevada; grandchildren: Kevin Stovall; Keenan Stovall; Gerrick Phillips; William Luke; Brandon Ramsey; Bradley Ramsey; and Brianna Ramsey. Funeral servies were held August 13, at Waldo Funeral Home chapel in Sherman with Rev. Richard Macellaro of the Downtown Chapel in Sherman officiating. Interment followed at West Hill Cemetery.
