For many years she sang in the choir, where she sang many solos. She served on numerous committees, being most proud of serving on the Education Scholarship committee, and the Smoote Gray Memorial Scholarship committee. She was currently in charge of finding substitutes for the aduilt Sunday School teachers. Margie also had a leadership role in her Sunday School class. She had a pssion for hearing and teaching the Word of God and it has always been her desire to see others come to know Christ. She loved the legacy and heritage of her church.
